People who didn’t go anywhere during the height of the pandemic are ready to get out and go.The Orlando International Airport is a busy place these days”We were here about three weeks ago and it was chaos, insane, security was all the way, I mean the line was back here,” passenger Ashley Lyons said. The lesson learned this trip?”We came a little early to prepare ourselves for a long line and we’re good, we are good,” Lyons said. She says this trip to the airport is much more manageable, and other travelers agreed.”Quite honestly, it’s not too bad, we just got here so it’s moving pretty quick, so can’t complain,” Adam Tankersley said. Orlando International Airport projected that for its spring break travel period, which they call their Super Bowl, from late February to the middle of April so we’re only a few days away, they’d have about 7 million people come in and out of the airport. They say they’re right on that projection, even with very little international travel. For Saturday, airport officials project over 156,000 people will move through the airport. The third highest single day of the six-week period.”Oh my gosh, it’s so busy. The most busy that any human being could ever imagine, just people everywhere and delays,” traveler Beth Kerechanin said. Every traveler’s story is different.”I got here two and half hours ago, and they wouldn’t even let me check my bags. I had to wait and now have a couple more hours to fly out,” Kerechanin said. Most people feel as long as you arrive early and plan ahead, you’re good.”We got here early and we’re just hanging out, this is a beautiful airport,” passenger John Watson said.
