With nearly 50 parks and miles of hike and bike trails, Frisco is the perfect place to spend time outdoors as the warmer months approach.

Parks, trails and facilities

The 1135 Restoration Project is a nearly 39-acre restored Blackland Prairie grassland. It offers native plants, two ponds and more than three miles of natural trails. The project is a collaboration between the city and the Army Corps of Engineers of Fort Worth. No official address, located at the very south end of Teel Parkway.

Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt is a 77-acre preserved area with open meadows, wetlands, ponds and two miles of trail. It won an award in 2018 from the Texas Recreation and Park Society for the best park design in the state in its population category. 3925 Bear Creek Lane.

Dash’s Track Disc Golf Course is an 18-hole disc golf course located at B.F. Phillips Community Park. 3335 Timber Ridge.

Freedom Meadow at Warren Sports Complex is a five-acre memorial meadow, honoring those who lost their lives on Sept. 1, 2001. With the help of the Frisco Garden Club, it has been seeded with native wildflowers and plants. 7599 Eldorado Parkway.

Frisco Central Park is an eight-acre park with a pond, running water brook, amphitheater, picnic benches and trails. It also displays public art including bronze sculptures and quotes that represent the historic cattle drive along the Shawnee Trail. 3155 Parkwood Drive.

Hope Park is an accessible park for kids of all ages and abilities. Located at Frisco Commons Park, it includes rubberized ground, a sensory area, adaptive playground equipment, a picnic area and separate areas for younger and older children. It is also located near the spray park. 8000 McKinney Road.

Limestone Quarry Park is 17-acre neighborhood park with a basketball court, grills, mosaic artwork, a pavilion, picnic tables and a playground. Connected to the Taychas Trail, the park has a hidden creek and water hole. 6300 Maltby Drive.
